Groups of citizens living in predominantly rural areas concerned about generating clean energy to benefit local communities forms the membership of Countryside Energy Co-op. We actively recruit new members and welcome your interest.

Membership is open to any individual, couple, business, or investor group that subscribes to our Mission Statement and supports Countryside Energy Co-op.

Applicants agree to purchase five (5) membership shares at a par value of fifty dollars for a total membership cost of two hundred and fifty dollars (CAD$250), representing a lifetime membership in Countryside Energy Co-operative Inc.

All memberships must be approved by the Board of Directors at the regular monthly meeting held following receipt of application. When a membership is approved, the member has voting privileges. Countryside Energy Co-op’s policy is one-member-one-vote.
